Hi all,

I am playing the Fugue in C Minor (three voices), Book 1, WTC.  Are there any tips for bringing out the middle voice?  This is often played with the top voice in the right hand and it gets lost in my playing...

Thanks,
atticus

Play just the middle voice in the RH (with LH playing it's voice), and then just the top voice in the RH (again with the LH playing it's voice.) Hear how each voice sounds, and work out the dynamics and which bits need playing louder etc. Then play the middle voice in the LH whilst playing the top voice in the RH, and then combine them into the RH and see how it goes.
