Video: Maksim performing "New Wordl Concerto"

Piano and Orchestra work based on themes by Dvorak

Good video IMO

The masterpiece tell the performer what to do, and not the performer telling the piece what it should be like, or the cocomposer what he ought to have composed.

Very nice. I particularly liked the last up-and-down passage before the final playout, it really sounded 'new worldly'.

Did he write it himself?

EDIT: He looks so emo, yet ciche...quemo

He looks like those people in emo bands who scream and are hardcore.

Gosh, I feel nauseated, he is sending music to hell in a handbasket.
Bach - Partita No.2
Scriabin - Etude 8/12
Debussy - L'isle Joyeuse
Liszt - Un Sospiro

So he turned the New World Symphony into a Piano Concerto and cut half the first movement.  Not really impressive. ::)

He should be shot in the kneecaps.
