on: December 09, 2003, 06:32:53 AM
has anyone heard Mozart's double concerto in E something I believe is the key. I saw the sheet music for it today and it looks just magnificent.

If you are talking about the concerto for two pianos in E flat (K.365) then yes, I've heard it.  The third movement is lightly touched on in the movie "Amadeus".  It does seem very exciting and it is on my wishlist.

It's in the part where Salieri is looking over Mozart's scores when Constanze was trying to get him the job teaching the emperor's niece.  I just downloaded my copy, but if you want a cd just look on amazon or something.

downloaded copy of sheet music of an mp3?

here's a question. On this forum I hear alot about chopin, rachmaninoff and a couple of other concertos, but why not all the talk about mozart's? I am listening to his 21st concerto right now and find it quite delightful.
