Hehe, just boastin. I can upload them if you like.

Liszt1022, you say it was recorded twice. On the CD the first and second movements of the second concerto were recorded a year before the third, or the first was recorded a year before the second and third. Why was that? Did Naxos prefer the second recording of the third movement better? Or did he have to finish writing up the third movement after recording the first and second?

The recordings of the 2nd Concerto were done in the 1920s, well after it was written. If Naxos chose to split the movements between the two recordings, then it was a matter of preference on some producer's part. However, Rachmaninoff wasn't noted for his spontaneity at the piano, and I own both and feel that they are nearly identical except for recording quality. Why they would bother to nnot just use all of one recording escapes me.
