new recipies
on: May 09, 2006, 01:40:06 AM
ok. for those of you that like to cook, here's a new one.  take your regular banana bread recipie and put in a few extra nuts and 1/4 c. fresh squeezed orange juice.  it tastes really good.  the whole loaf was gone tonight and i baked it around 3pm.  (i didn't eat itall).

if you have a recipie that is modified or new - go ahead. make my day .

Banana bread? That's new to me.

I don't really have original recipes. But my favorite recipe is probably my lasagna made with quorn and vegetables. Important is to have many layers so you can use a lot of dought and cheese. Then I prefer to drink 'wheat-water', or rather beer non-alcoholic beer. It's not sweet but bitter and refreshing.

I meant dough, I am dyslexic...

The dough sheets that define lasagna. It is a pasta.

I don't know about the names of beer in the US. But I drink the non-alcoholic verion of Bavaria. It is probably a steriotypical dutch beer, but then without alcohol. I prefer its bitter refreshing character. Real beer is too 'sweet' for my taste. Plus I generally prefer not to consume alcohol altogether. Other soft drinks, like coke, are much more sweeter. I think there isn't much choice if you want a non-sweet carbonised beverage.

good thing you don't drink.  can you imagine what it would do to a dyslexic?
