Tango in 2/4?
on: May 13, 2006, 09:02:03 PM
Hello,
Does anyone have some recommendations for a simple Tango in 2/4 count for the piano?
I've been playing "Habanera" for a dance class but I'm getting bored with playing the same one over and over, so I would like to provide more variety.
I'm looking for something at a medium level - not simple, but not complicated, so I can learn it quickly. It would be nice to improvise one, which I hope to do some day, but I'm not there yet.
Any help appreciated,
Chris

E-mail me, I have one that I've scanned in from my sheet music collection.
Cheers

First one to come to mind is the Tango in D, by Albeniz.
Lovely little piece of music.
