I think that Ben Grosvenor won this comp too.Havent seen much yet, but will definately be tuning in to the final.SJ
i have legendarily been following it tooss2 is a great choice, probably the best concerto for that time frame, id choose itthought all the semifinalists were good, but none astounded me, especially technicallyi suppose theres a big difference between this competition and other competitions in more technically disciplined countriesof course, musically, britain is as good as any other, but i dont think they have the technical passion to strive for more virtuosity...or maybe the virtuosos didnt make it to the semis?
anyway, the point was that these young pianists arent anywhere near the technical level of young pianists in certain other countries

hahaha it was a bit sheet anyway, im not big on mozartits over now...all you can enjoy is the vid tom posted, its probably the best thing in the comp anyway, so youre not missing that much.
