herbert

ok.  there's this robin that has adopted me, or i him.  every morning and night he is in the backyard and tries to get as close to me as he can.  i started calling him herbert (for herbert von karjian).  he has this beautiful red chest that reminds me of a tux.  he tilts his head and looks and then hops a few steps closer (within range of the hose).

i think herbert finds more worms once the ground is soaked.  tommorrow, i expect that he will be right under my feet.  it has been a profound backyard moment.

I have a penguin named Herbert.  He is one of thoses moshi pillow thingies that a friend gave me.  He came pre-named though.

Last night there was a fox in my garden.

Today there is no fox.

Poor fox.

I have called it "stiff".

Philosophical?  Feelings??  It's just that I hate dead flowers.  It's nothing really.... nevermind....

I'm going to pick up my friend's keys tomorrow.

I have a teddy called Growly. He growls.

I had a teddy called Growly. He growled.

I don't have a teddy, I have a kitten and a cat.

Thal, I would counsel against having a stiff in your garden.  It might alarm the neighbours  :o
