on the hot setting? maybe they switch settings. when i use one on my hair - it's too hot after a couple of seconds to point right at one spot (without waivering).
itchy-hair fungus? hmm. that is funny - considering he was bald. did he HAVe to explain himself.
my topic is a poorly chosen one, admittedly, but the shock value of having a barber suddenly turn on himself with a blow dryer (no he didn't let his block and tackle out) in full view made me wonder if he was some sort of lunatic that happened to walk by the shop and pose as a hairdresser. he didn't know how to use the cash register very well, either - which should have been a tip off. and, when i asked if he had a business card he didn't. and, he asked what i would do with it. (this had mostly to do with the fact he still wanted cash after i paid with credit card - and falsely told me that the credit card didn't go thru. when i came back with cash - there were more people around - so i asked him again - why, if i gave you the credit card and u have a receipt right there- didn't it go thru. then he said, 'it did go thru.' so my son said, 'why do we need to pay you again.' he said, 'you don't.' this was after i walked all the way to the atm thinking that he needed cash instead of the card. so i said - well, here's a twenty - take five for a tip. he didn't know how to make change - so i said - can you give me back $15.? he looked perplexed. was this a case of complete misunderstanding or was he unable to get enough tip by running my credit card? why do some days have to be so entirely strange. i was willing to get the cash - but almost accidentally paid for the haircut AGAIN plus tip. am realizing when i asked for his business card, and when more people entered - he was becoming more honest.
