Recording request (Scarlatti and Mendelssohn)
on: June 07, 2006, 07:20:12 PM
Does anybody have a recording of Scarlatti's Sonata in D major K.535 and/or Mendelssohn's Scherzo in E minor Op.16 (no.2 of 3 Fantaisies or Caprices Op.16) ??

I have the three caprices Op 16.
The masterpiece tell the performer what to do, and not the performer telling the piece what it should be like, or the cocomposer what he ought to have composed.
