Of course, it was very nice playing.

Hmm...it looks as if it is professionally shot and has a title page--I wonder if it was intended to be released and wasn't for some reason.

Bah, the audio wasn't synced.  It was pretty good, but then again, once you see the Richter 10.4 video it's hard to be blown away by technical prowess.

there isnt one...
I think the only videos are:
The "Concerto 2001"  (he plays a schubert sonata, a Schubert/Liszt, his version of Rhap 13, Polka Italienne and Etincelles)
Sousa/Horowitz - Stars and Stripes
Rakockszy March
Carnegie Hall (Glinka and 2 Rachets)
I think those are all the "proper" videos... there are some poor quality vids of him at the Verbier festival but people are sitting in front of the camera... kind of annoying...

volodos is superior to richter in quite a few technical areas, especially octaves.

This video is from his debute live in carnegie hall 1998. It had to be a television recital but (from what I've heard) Volodos didn't accept and therefore the recital was never broadcasted.
It's a pity because all the people I know who have seen the whole recital are saying that this is the best they have ever seen of Volodos (and maybe the best of all).

There exist a video of this recital, but this is very secret. I think only Volodos, his teacher (G. Eguiazarova) and some of his friends have this tape, so it's almost impossible to get it.

People who have seen the video say that Volodos himself was quite unhappy about the recital  ::)
