Separating Audio from Video???

Does anyone here know how to do this, i want to put the audio from a video on my ipod but i dont know as how to go about it ???

I use a program called "Easy Video to Audio Converter" (Aone Software). You can use it free on a trial basis, but it has limitations (can't remember what they were, 5 mins max at a time is not uncommon for this sort of software). The limitations are removed by ordering it online or, ahem, locating registration codes.

When you say 'video', do you mean DVD, VHS(remember them?) or is it a digital video on your computer?
