Pieces for two pianos?
on: June 17, 2006, 09:41:32 AM
Only ones that I know of so far are Carmen Variations and Rachmaninoff Symphonic suites i think.
For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert.  (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

The 'six epigraphes antiques' are for piano duet.

Other things by Debussy:
Danse sacrée et danse profane
La mer
Ecossaise (duet)
Lindaraja

Ravel has written some neat stuff as well:
Frontispice
La valse
Sites Auriculaires (duet)
Rapsodie espagnole (duet)
Belles journées, souris du temps,
vous rongez peu à peu ma vie.
Dieu! Je vais avoir vingt-huit ans...
Et mal vécus, à mon envie.
