any assasins right here.
on: June 17, 2006, 07:13:01 PM
i have a nice job for an assasin and i'm willing to pay big

the target is my finance proffesor

and don't think i'm one of those blame all on your proffesor if you didn't study well.

that son of a pregnant dog called me a sheep and refused to take my quiz paper for reasons i still don't know

not only that, we have a pregnant girl in our class and, he once told her who are you pregnant from and why?  :-X  how rude is that?

once he told a girl, why are you wearing a short skirt? do you want to disguist us with your leg hair, even thou her legs were as smooth as a glass.

he always make fun of a bald guy in our class.

and constantly screaming and reminding us how stupid we are and we need to drop the class as soon as possible

i have heared that a short cut to an A is a nice expensive slection of choclate.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH HIM.

any takers?

i'll write more about his crap later.

cheers

Have everyone in your class sign a complaint and send it to the Dean. A jackass like that shouldn't even be teaching. If you have his email, send it to me. I'd like to give him a piece of my mind - and send along an email bomb.

Best, John

that's mean. it's like in the little yr1 class i'm prac teaching in, thier teacher is so mean, she's constantly yelling at them for talking, yelling out, or whatever- she's like 'why are you doing that? i'm so ashamed of you' and fully yells it out. like yes, they are a roudy class but the poor children are going to be feeling so bad about themselves, because some of them are really trying hard, but as if 6yr olds know everything that's right and wrong. and some just don't listen anyway. maybe i'm too soft, but i don't believe in yelling derogatory comments at them all day!

anyway, i agree with jonny-boy have a big protest about him, boycott his class and park outside the dean's office until someone does something about it. then if nothing happens, blow his house up.

Klavierkonzerte,

Along with the box of chocolates, hand him a copy of the letter you are going to write to your school's administration about his behavior, including as many signatures as you can get.

(Agent Sands--> my favorite character in all of cinema, btw)

my math prof was a prick too; not just in the way he acted, but he graded unfairly too.  My mark depended on him and it was too late to switch out, so I just had to go through it and take the bad mark.  If I had any other teacher my mark would have been higher.  the old man didnt deserve a salary imo

i know one of the mafias here use guys that kill for as little 25 pounds. they use an array of weapans, however they are rarely discrete and tend to use  rapid fire machine guns in messy hits that often have collateral damage implications on innocent by standers.
i have never consulted with these nice men myself and dont think i will ever require their services. I also hope that our paths shall never meet.
to be more serious now your lecturer sounds like king of the assholes.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH HIM.

Oooooooooooooooooooooo, you wont believe the things i've seen far beyond your wildest dream,  anyway here is some TRADE SECRET, find a local park the bigger the better.
Then find a spot where you feel happy and safe, quietly sit at that spot for as long as you like, breath through your nose out through your mouth and think of nothing, Empty your mind. Do this before and after attending your proffesors lecture. If you master this simple
exercise , you will not be effected by your teachers bad attitude.

Good luck and BTW we all have been through similar situations.

Just complain about him, surely you have the right as a student to be taught by a competent person and the right channels should be in place at your university.

You shouldn't be afraid to assert your rights as a student.

I'm not a shrink but it sounds as if he may have "mental health" issues anyway.

I would steer away from murder though. This may be a bit extreme.

Letter with signature is a good idea.  For college classes, they usually do some kind of end of the semester form for a class.  You could try a letter in the student newspaper too.  And someone could say "That's really rude of you prof," during class after he makes a comment like that.  Start creating a list and turn that into someone above him later on.

do u think teachers like this compare notes.  perhaps they try to see who can be as hard on the students as they are on them?  i don't know.  it does seem quite rude to ask pointed questions.  i tend to agree with ada about the mental health question.  how many years has this teacher been teaching?  maybe they need a random act of kindness to shock them.  just go along with the ploy and answer in really wild and funny ways.

for instance, the girls could say 'i became pregnant when i ate a watermelon.  my legs aren't half as hairy as yours.  u should try wearing short shorts.'

maybe he's trying to lighten up the class - but is ineffective?  the younger set seems sometimes to enjoy lighthearded razzing but the older u get the more it can be annoying or iritating - or make u wonder if what they said is true.  for instance, when i started back to college i was really concerned about my age.  instead of my prof saying 'oh, u'll be fine.  he said things that made me feel old.  the first semester i thought i'd never catch up to where i was or be really into the lessons like the younger students.  then, one day - i realized he was joking with me.  so then i stopped trying to be so perfect because u can't really change who u are and what ur mind is capable of over night.  he did help to channel my thinking.  i was used to wide trains of thought - and they became gradually narrowed a bit more.  he said he would 'microwave' me.  that really encouraged me.

maybe all this teacher wants is more interaction.  u know how students can act all dead and eyes glazed over.  this might be his way of getting interaction - though a wierd way.

Secretly record him ranting with a cameraphone, post it on youtube/google video etc for the whole world to see what a prick he is and anonymously send him the link. If possible, getting an accomplice to provoke him further might be amusing.

Mind you, he'll probably enjoy watching himself..

he doesn't allow us to interact with him, if anyone said anything he'll flame him

today that pig told me and my friend you are both so stupid why are you sitting next to each others?

he also told the class today i don't have time to lecture all this stuff get a private tutor.

the students of the class befor ours came out of the class room cursing him

guys keep in kind that summer semster started last week so there are more pleasant surprises to come.

i asked some student that studied with him befor, they told me he's just warming up the best is yet to come.

i think maybe he's starting to get alzheimer because he's so old that even one of our proffesors studied with him befor, told us he's the devil, i red that people in early stages of alzheimer tend to be very aggrisive.

If he treats everyone that way, don't let it get to you too much.  It's nothing you have done.  Use him to toughen up to the idiots in life maybe.

Rude is rude though and you are paying for that class.  If he said something like what you've described to me in class, I would just tell him he is being rude during class in front of the class.  Maybe telling him he's being rude right after class could help.

Then I would go above him.

If that doesn't solve it (and it might not do anything) then I would avoid any class with him or switch something if it's that big of an issue -- like switching schools I mean if it's a teacher you always have to be around.

There's always sucking it up, taking whatever he dishes out, and moving on.  I would complain, but if if you're almost done with the class there might not be much you can really do -- except warn others, advisor included.  If you're one week into classes, see if you can drop or switch.

I like the idea of taping it.  With or without his permission.  You can always claim ignorance if you tape without the ok, but if you did get his ok and you did get it on tape, that would be very useful for backing up your points.

My guess is the school knows the person acts the way they do but they keep him there for some other reason -- like research.  He may be a great researcher and asset to the college, but he may be required to teach a few classes which he does but hates it and takes it out on the students.  I've heard of that before.

if this person is otherwise a good teacher, i'd just put up with his shenanigans.  after all, it's just a class.  but, if u feel that u are being treated unfairly and will not pass the class for some reason or other (discrimination) - then i'd switch teachers if i could.

teachers can be so arbitrary with grades.  for instance, i had it in my mind that i wanted to take intro to physics (do not ask why) because i thought it would be easier than chemistry.  then, come to find out - the teacher probably didn't like girls, didn't like stupid girls, and didn't want to help anyone who was stupid.  if u asked a question - it wouldn't be answered.  if u needed a hint - there was none.  he got sick halfway thru the semester and this really cool guy took his place.  he didn't do as much pop-quiz, testing stuff - and more hands-on stuff.  he would walk around the class room and see if we were understanding the concepts.  and, if i was still the stupidist one in class he'd never make me feel that way.  do u know, i got a B.  i think teachers don't realize how much their attitudes can make or break a students' interest in what is being taught.

switching teachers is only an option usually in the first couple weeks of class.  After that, it's just a big pain and the switch itself will be a disadvantage.  (unless the course shares the same exam among different sections)

next time, the best thing to do is to visit www.ratemyprofessor.com (or .ca for us canadians) and if you know who your future teacher is, you can read reviews done by students.

I have had some experience with both college and crime, and I am of the opinion the two should not mix.

If you are a college student you should not consider committing a crime.  (And hiring it done is also committing a crime)

The reason is the unavoidable college mindset of good enough.  You get partial credit.  You guess on multiple choice tests.  You accept a B with a score of 84%, there's no point studying hard enough to get 100%.

This isn't bad, it is how the system works and you have learned to cope with it.

However in the criminal justice system, almost getting a crime right is not good enough.  It means jail.  That is somewhere you do not want to be.  Trust me.  Even the country club places are neither safe nor pleasant, and there are some places that are beyond barbaric.
