never knew Cortot had editions of Liszt's etudes. Personally I've always wanted to see Liszt's editions of the Beethoven Sonatas.
Yes, I have seen the Cortot Liszt etudes before, but stupidly didn't buy them. I have also seen the LIszt Beethoven sonatas, and although it has some interesting historical value (it was groundbreaking in its strict adherence to the text), you won't really find Liszt's interpretative ideas in it, like in a Schnabel edition. His goal was different.
