2-3 Minute Piece that goes from Sad to Happy

My cousin asked me today if I could give him a 2-3 minute piece that went from depressing at the beginning to happy as it reaches the end to use for a film he is making this summer.  I can think of a ton of pieces that go from "depressing" to "happy," but I'm having a hard time thinking of one that is only 2-3 minutes.

Any thoughts?

forgive me, but scott joplin comes to mind.  not sure which rag.  will listen to a few tonight.

or, some kind of music or combo from the soundtrack to 'sleepless in seattle.'

i think 'melancholy blues' suddenly switching to 'happy train' would also work.  u know.  some soul music.

or some beegees music  like 'all by myself ' and suddenly switch to some kind of happy song like 'happy ever after.'

I played a piece by Mousorgsky called 'Une Larme' (A Tear) which is in ABA form. The A section is in G minor, modulating to G major in the B section. It is a very nice, relatively easy piece.

I think what your'e looking for is Mozart's K 397 Fantasia in d minor. It's about 5 Minutes long, while the first part- the minor part, takes approximately 3.5 minutes and the Major part (which is in D Major) takes more or less 1.5 minutes.

I really really recommend that you take that.
