Advice needed - What to play!?
on: June 20, 2006, 05:55:38 PM
Hi...
What pieces should i play if I want to practice trills and (relatively) slow scales. (not too slow though).
At the moment I'm playing Für Elise, 1st movement of the Moonlight Sonata, Kuhlau Sonatina Op. 55 No.1 and I'm soon done with Schubert Impromptu Op. 142 No. 2 - so I'm not that experienced yet. Though I'd like to play some pieces which includes trills and / or scales. (The scales must not be too fast, but not to slow either).

So - I'd very much like some suggestions on what pieces to play.

Mozart sonata K 545. The first movement has enough, not so fast scales.  It has a trill too at the end of the exposition of the first movement.

Try Chopin's Nocturne Op9 no2...
Hope it fits your standard now
