Trilling with thirds...but how?
on: December 21, 2003, 08:39:39 PM
Hello all,
I am learning the Chopin Concerto in F minor right now, but I can't seem to be able to trill thirds very well...what is the best remedy for this? Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

I have just come across this technical difficulty as well (after years of procrastination vis-a-vis learning the Barcarolle) in Chopin's Grande Polonaise Brillante. I find the only method is to choose the best fingering and practice as fast as possible while remaining totally even,

Try to trill with 14 and 25- this works best for me.
