In a span of ten minutes, you rip one person for posting a topic that's been discussed many times in the past, and then you rip someone else for digging up an old thread. Which way should it be?

It's possible to rip both ways, is it not? Indeed, you've pretty much just illustrated that it is so. I didn't say that I necessrily recommend or endorse such a course of action, however...

Whilst I do realise that it is not me to whom you address the above, but if you personally believe - as you seem to be suggesting here - that they are indeed ALL "dumb", why have you bothered to contribute as much as you have to them?

You're at a message board about piano repertoire. So no, discussing the hardest pieces is not dumb.

If you don't like  them, why do you constantly respond? And on multiple websites??

I thought he was criticizing one poster for adding yet another discussion to a board that was already filled with that topic (when he could have searched for a pre-existing thread), and then criticizing someone else for doing just the opposite (digging up an old thread rather than add yet another one).
