Baldwin 243 e
on: June 28, 2006, 07:49:06 PM
Greetings.
I just got my beautifull Baldwin 243e and I love it. Beautifull tone good action, a sturdy touch, perfect for developing my technique. I know that this might be a silly question, but there seems to be some kind of vibration in the strings that is audible as unwanted noise when I play certain notes in the low register. I know that this happens and my piano hasn't been visited by a tuner scheduled to arrive next week. Would a tuner be able to fix this kind of problem?
Thanks for responces.

Congratulations on your new Baldwin! I have the same piano, I bought it new 5 years ago and I love it. The tone actually improves as the piano ages. As far as your problem goes, it's hard to answer without knowing what's causing the noise and without knowing what skills your tuner has. I lean toward thinking it's something a good tuner should be able to take care of. Lary

Thanks for replying. Actually the noise is better now, and I figure that that tuner, or a specialist will be able to fix such things. Thanks.
