Problems with Instant Messages?

I know some of you have had problems sending Instant Messages (Private Messages) to other members.
The IM should always be addressed to the members USERNAME  , which is not always the same as the nick name showed on the members postings.
If you don't know his/her username, just click on the nick name somewhere in the forum to view their profile. Then click on "send this member a private message".
