Chopin Etudes

Are there any good books/publications regarding particular piano technic approach to the Chopin Etudes.  It would also be helpful if any publications may cover the historical or interpretation issues regarding these compositions.

The classic reference is the Abbey Whiteside, two books published in one, Indispensables of Piano Playing, and Mastering the Chopin Etudes.  Not everyone likes the book but you must check it out.  Also, the Cortot editions of the Chopin Etudes might have what you ar looking for.  For poetic interpretations of the Etudes, look at James Huneker's book, Chopin, The Man and the Music.
