you left out sonata no 10 and his sonata in e flat minor. my vote goes for number 9. it doesnt seem to have as many of the difficulties that the romantic early sonatas have and the difficulties that the later sonatas have. it is also one of the slower ones. it wouldnt be my first choice to play, however.

actually, yes and no. sonata no 2 also goes by the name 'sonata-fantasy", but there is also another sonata-fantasy, which is also in the key of g sharp minor, but is only one movement, as opposed to the two movement sonata no 2. also, sonata no 2 is op 19, the sonata-fantasy is op posth.

The fantasy in G# is by far my favourite scriabin sonata  :) And there is one post. in Eb minor. And the easiest? Hav'nt played them all so it would be unfair to answer that question

I don't think there's such a thing as the 'easiest' Scriabin sonata - another one of these threads :-\
They're all bloody hard!
Never look at the trombones. You'll only encourage them.

Who voted for the 5th?

Well, mechanically the 4th might be the easiest (and shortest).
