piece suggestions?
on: July 06, 2006, 07:55:10 PM
I have my first lesson with my new teacher next week, and i'm stuck for a piece to perform. I've decided on Ondine from Gaspard, and Chasse-Neige from the Transcendentals... but i need another piece to go with them to even out the styles a little...

preferably something post grade 8 but not too hard that i can make a good go at in a week (i practise a LOT and it would be achievable).

any and all suggestions welcome.

I suggest Bach Toccata in e minor, or Beethoven sonata op.10 no.1 in c minor.

Scarlatti :D! Take your pick here:

(Scarlatti favourite sonatas – almost 200 sonatas graded and commented).

Best wishes,
Bernhard.
