I would have to say Chopin.

Chopin was sickly, not pathetic. I think no composers where crybabies who cut themselves really.

I'm talking more about the music than the lifestyles (not the condoms).
Or maybe both apply here. I don't know.

Rachmaninoff. He's got to be one of the angriest, whingeing composers around (in terms of music).

Brahms wrote a piece that was emo (intermezzo 118/6) imo.

rach was a sad person, but i don't think i would say "emo".

not wanting to go off topic, but whenever i see a comment like this i feel the need to stress that cutting shouldn't be associated with some pathetic 15 yr old high school fashion.. *gets off high horse*

back on topic, i would have to say Ravel.... just take a look at two of the three poems he chose for Gaspard de la Nuit, especially Ondine
