Of those in the standard repertoire for international piano competitions, my vote goes to Mendelssohn no. 1 in g minor.  It's a great concerto -- but it's relatively "easy."

I dont agree

The piano concerto num 1 by Glinka could be an option
The masterpiece tell the performer what to do, and not the performer telling the piece what it should be like, or the cocomposer what he ought to have composed.

well, Mendhelsohn are easier, and Grieg is easier of all other great piano concerto, but they are still difficult pieces for whic you have to practice a lot and for which you need a time..

I am now listening to Glazunovs 2nd concerto. Is it so difficult?
Anybody familiar with it?

I don't know of any "easy" romantic concerti. But the Mendelssohn concerti are near the bottom.

P.S. No.2 is SO much better than No.1

I believe its Kabalevsk's 3rd piano concerto. Even though it was written by a modern composer its in the romantic style.

I don't like the mendelssohn because for how easy it sounds it's rather unpianistic :P.  Oh well, I'm stuck with it.
For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert.  (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

Piano Concerto Num 1 by Balakirev (Not Glinka, my mistake) would be THE option
The masterpiece tell the performer what to do, and not the performer telling the piece what it should be like, or the cocomposer what he ought to have composed.

perhaps take a look at rimsky-korsakov's piano concerto. its 1 movt, about 15 min, and not difficult.
