well from the past, some great composers and pianist like Liszt, Cziffra and Horowitz,
today maybe Volodos, but also a great number of jazz pianist and some people who
are not popular but they can improvise on the every theme you gave to them
4-do you primarily improvise, play repertoire, or a mix of both?
I play repertoire mostly, but for my pleasure I improvise at home

both-exercises can help you to improve some things in your repertoire

very late-when I was 10 years old, first thing I've listen was Traumerie from
Kinderszenen by Schumann

also very late-with 12

some singers and groups from Croatia (where I am from), then Eros Ramazotti, Robbie
Williams, Elvis Preasly, Bon Jovi......

maybe sometimes when I listen for example such a great musicians like Horowitz or
Cziffra

hmm, when you listen Cziffra of course that technical ability impressed you, but I'm
maybe more impressed with musical ability (for example in Pogorelich's playing)
18 - what would you rather have; best technique in the world, or best musicality?
hmm maybe technique because I could play then whatever I want, but then the music
is the most important thing in my life, and I wouldn't like to play without feelings and
emotions, so MUSICALITY RULES!!!
