What do you think?
on: July 23, 2006, 01:30:35 AM
Hello.
I have been studying the Poulenc Intermezzo in Ab major and I have my eye on another piece to study this upcoming year-the Brahms Ballade in G minor Op.118 no.3. My past experience with Brahms is Intermezzo Op.117 no.1 a year ago, which I enjoyed working on very much. Do you think that this is a suitable jump from where I am currently?
Thank you.

im sure the brahms ballade would not be much of a problem technically if you can do the poulenc, unless you arent that great with chords. if not, make up some chordal exercises with some of the passages from the brahms. perhaps the past experience with teh intermezzo will help a little bit.
btw, it says in your profile thats youre from LA. is that los angeles, or louisiana? im from los angeles.
