forth finger

hi,does anyone know any finger strength exercises for the forth finger.i have noticed that my forth on the LH is stronger than on the right.which is strange because i am right handed.thanx

Or simply practice chromatics with 3, 4, and 5 without putting it into the context of the etude. Just as beneficial (from the 4th finger's pov), but saves the effort of learning the specific notes. Later, after you can play the chromatics well enough, the etude would be the next step in development.

Yes, I do. His book is required reading. Some of what he writes I would have questions, but I believe this would probably be because it is very difficult to write about the subject without demonstration. I am sure that if we met and talked about it with a piano nearby we would realise we are talking about pretty much the same thing. :D
