Too many inactive members
on: July 29, 2006, 10:22:05 AM
I had a look through the members list and there are many 'inactive' members around. When I say inactive I mean that they NEVER POST ANYTHING. Do you think you should do something about it? :-\

Greetings.

Perhaps the reason for their lack of posting is because they only join the site for its benefits, such as the sheet music.

People aren't obligated to post. If they don't want to, they don't want to. Maybe they prefer just to read the threads.

Since we have a satisfying amount of active members I do not see this as a problem at all.
As mentioned above there are many valid reasons to join but not post.

Send them a pleasent email to ask if they still want their account or not.
I don't think that you will need to be a member to read the posts.......

They could just sign up to pianostreet and get the music. Why apply for the forum or chat at all?
