Recital Song
on: July 31, 2006, 08:46:59 PM
Can anybody recommend a recital piece for me?  I would like it to sound impressive, and also have it be fun to play.  If possible, I would like a piece by Chopin, that is somewhat similar to the Entertainer, though Chopin and Joplin are extremely different.  I'm about a Grade 7 pianist, to give you a rought idea of my level.  Thank you!

I assume you mean the same "mood" as the entertainer? If so, have a look at Etude 25/9. i have no idea what grade 7 means, but it isn't too difficult.

Grand Valse Brillante Op. 18 by Chopin comes to mind.
