How about an early classical piano concerto?  Those ought to be cakes ;).
For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert.  (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

From those concertos on this list, I think that Prokofiev 1st is maybe the easiest..then comes Liszt 1st...
But these are not the easiest concertos in the wholle literature!! Rach 2nd is veeery difficult!!! for easiest concertos I would say some Bach, Bach's sons, Haydn, Mozart, some Beethoven (1 and 2) Mendhelsohn and Grieg...

if you mean the easiest from this list, i would say the shostakovich no 2. if you mean easiest in general, this is an awful list. try the classical/baroque concertos.

I'd say Prok 2 - it's got the hardest cadenza in the repertoire, so out of those, I think it's the easies ::)
This is a pretty bad list - is it for your personal learning, or another one of those pointless getting annoying what's the easiest/hardest piece threads?
The Shosta 2 is easily the easiest out of those in every aspect.

Since when are classical/baroque pieces easy?

Shostakovich 2 is without a doubt the easiest (although I've only heard the Scriabin once... I can't imagine it being easy!). It's not an easy piece compared to the entire concerto repertoire, but it's a great deal more doable than the others if you're at an intermediate level. It's beautiful too! My favorite slow movement of any concerto... makes me cry...  :'(

These are my favorite romantic concerto's. Of course Rach 3 and Rach 1 I love them to, but they are again more difficult. I'm currently learning a Haydn pianoconcerto, so I have allready a classical one, so I want to try the hard work now.

Some people even say it's harder than Rach 3... Yes it's very difficult.

The 1st movt is very doable - nothing terrifying - the 3rd on the other hand may pose several problems. (the 2nd concerto this is)

1 is harder. 2 is only hard if you play it at the tempo shosty himself plays it at. i don't think there are many metronomes that go that high.

Thank you so much for the scores! And what, is this called the 'unisono concerto' or what?  :P
Anyone who played it? May be I will give it a chance.

I've read through. Actually... dont' fool yourself. It may look easy, but like most of Shostakovich for piano, it doesn't fit the hands particularly well and trying to do it at tempo can be a pain. And the mini-cadenza in the first movement is a bit tricky. Other than that it's an awesome piece musically (one of the coolest concertos to listen to in my opinion), but it won't win you any competitions.

I'm not a competition guy anyway, music isn't a competition. And is it really that hard? When you play a wrong note you immidiatly hear it, because it is so much unisono. And I think the first 2 mouv. are doable, the 3th mouvment is tricky. I will try... we'll see.

He incorporates a Hanons excercise (the second one I believe?) into the 3rd movement... so there is a reason to practice Hanons!  :P

The Greig is actually very hard. It's very tricky, and to get it working perfectly is no easy task.

Lay of Grieg.  He is sweet. Although he is not good at form :(.  Alas.  His last movement runs away with him.

I played the first mvt. and read through the others. It isn't that hard. It becomes hard if you try to play it like shosty did. I have his recording and it is blazing. I found the running arps right before the cadenza of the first mvt. to be the toughest part.

Then you should definately know its not any more "chords" then any other specific pianoconcerto.
