Martha, Mischa, GK & YB play Brahms
on: January 02, 2004, 08:56:04 PM
For anyone that's interested there's a page on the DG website about Martha's latest recording - Brahms piano quartet with Mischa Maisky, Gidon Kremer and Yuri Bashmet. There's a cool link on the page where you can see a short clip of them playing the 1st movement. My friend Nira is turning the pages for Martha - I'm so proud of her and not at all jealous (although I do think that I have  finer page-turning technique than her and I know for a FACT she only got the job cos she's Mischa Maisky's niece - pregnant dog!)                                           https://www.deutschegrammophon.com/special/?ID=argerich-kremer-bashmet-

Can I just say that I wrote b**ch at the end of my post and these f**kers changed it to pregnant dog thereby completely ruining my comic effect!

For anyone that is interested (and I'm sure some of you will be!) there is a lot of media available for streaming at https://www.rtsi.ch/trasm/argerich/welcome.cfm?lng=1&ids=493&idc=3057, much of it played by the goddess herself,
