ed pretends to hate maksim just to seem cool, we all know your bedroom buddies. and whats all this about maksim looking good? since when does that matter?
oops, i forgot - we are living in a superficial society full of superficial people, i listen to hot women pianists just because they are hot, maksim is a competent technician, the music he plays is krossover pap, but if he brings new fans to the 'real thing' ie. ALKAN(numero uno) chopin, liszt rachmaninov etc. then is he such a bad thing?
this is debatable, ill leave it for you lot to either debate this, or completely ignore my message

I don't really envy him for his playing skills. He isn't very good-looking either IMO. But he sure is more famous than pianists who are zillion times better than him >:(

I am disgusted by what you have guys have posted here. It is evident that you all are jealous of Maksim's achievements. It is fact that Maksim is the best pianist in the world now. Just look at his Bumblebee video, his fingers are so agile and his playing is so wonderful. I have his CD and I can tell you I have never heard a pianist so good in my life before. And add to the fact that he composed all the amazing tunes in the CD, not like those old pianists that only play the music of dead people. I bet that you all don't play remotely as well as Maksim, stop complaining, practice hard and when your CDs sell more than him, than you have the right to critize him.

And also, why this Argerich worship. My friend gave me an MP3 of her performance, I think she's playing this piece with a funny name like gasfart de la nut, must be about nuts that smell like fart, since it sounds like trash and it seems she's a very lousy pianist, seems like she's just randomly hitting the notes and I saw her photo, such an old lady, I don't understand why young people like you guys idolise an old lady who is poor in her playing.

Enough of my rants, shame on you guys for criticising a great pianist.

Well, I guess any non pianist that listen to Gaspard de la nuit will find it rather abstract for them understand, but it is far from trash, in fact it is one of the most beautiful and profound piano music ever composed. Piano-_-ger, perhaps you have not really explored more pianists and more accesible repertoire, ask your friend of yours to introduce you to something more palatable. I will not comment about Maksim, but just know that Argerich is by no means a mediocre pianist.

excuse me? what planet do you come from? some nincompooply earthling must have brainwashed you into believing that Maksim is great. he's far from great. he's only the "fart" of argerich!

how dare you! i can play bumble bee myself--that's an easy piece, can be played by a piano student who's been playing for just 2 years... yeah.

that wasn't even fast. he's so show-offy with the way the camera focuses at the sides of his hands--it makes it look difficult.

maksim didn't compose them you idiot! well, i don't know, maybe the silly background, but how dare you say that maksim composed those tunes.

bumble-bee was by rimsky-karsakoff you lunatic! and if I was the one who said "Maksim composed revolutionary etude" --OH MY LICUFER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd kill myself! THAT WAS COMPOSED BY CHOPIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

you guys DO realise that "piano ger" (or whatever her name was) was 100% just messing with our heads, right?

I mean, that was SO CONTRIVED that "gasfart de la nut" thing that she could only have been a pianist "in the know". Also, she couldn't possibly have been under the impression that Maksim was any good. It's...just... not... possible....

so i am only the second person is piano forum history to worship maksims greatness?
he has done wonders in the music world, he has shown the world was true talent is made of, and he has also composed a wonderful thing that some old dude called greeg or somethin copied. you only have to listen to maksims bumblebee flying around like his fingers, its amazing, he has created a world of his own, and only the initiated , who are in the know, are allowed to enter this 'heaven'

i heard about this vladirir horror witch, what a crummy pianist he just copies maksim.

you bastards! Maksim is without doubt the greatest human being that has ever lived, let alone pianist. He has the greatest technical and compositional talent, the warmest sound, and the most massive schlong that the piano world has ever seen. Not like that idiot Sir-GAY Rach-jerking-off, heard him play a piece called Rakthree, and it was nothing compared to Maksims version of his Funeral march sonata op.35. He can play octaves with separated testicles while reading the Qu'ran upside down. I love him.

he wont have the most massive schlong for long, having a long dong is useful for playing extra voices though, i always wondered why he sounded like he was playing with 3 hands, it was the dong!
he is truly a legend of our times, and i dont say that lightly, i say it as his beloved mother, or i wish i was his mother, nothing we can ever do can spawn a talent such as his.
but i did have a talk with his mother and she said she initially thought he had 2 umbilical cords.
thats what i call a schlong!
