i am looking for "oriental" by Rachmaniniff. Just heard this with the preludes and a clooection of song transcriptions. Thanks for the help.

do you have an opus number? or possibly a name of a set? i have everything by rachmaninoff.

there is no opus # listed. all there is , is a date, 1917

His last etude-tablau was based off an oriental march, if that's what you mean.

You can find it at sheetmusicarchive.net... op.39 no.9.

you might be right. the last etude-tableau was written in 1917.

No its a piece called the "Oriental Sketch"  wich is a separate piece. I cant seem to find any opus number either im afraid.

But i know its in B flat minor  ;D

i think i found it. this piece is called "oriental sketch".it was on the now defunct piano.ru site. luckily i have the whole website on my hard disk. it has no opus number, but this is in b flat major. take a look anyways.

EDIT: maybe not. the year says 1938. this is al i have found with that name.
