Bach 6-part fugue

Do you mean the ricercare which begins the set?
I wonder if it's not for two harpsichords/pianos ...

I saw a copy of 1 page of manuscript, and it was simply for piano. Outside a door of a teacher.

There are some pretty interesting clefs there I haven't seen before. An upside down bass clef along side a treble clef? Can anyone explain this notation?

maybe that's how he separates the various 'voices.' very cool to have this.
