There's a bunch of them. Do you mean piano specifically ?

2. Art Tatum playing Humoureske
3. Horowitz in Moscow
4. Hamelin - Supervirtuoso
5. Berevosky - Liszt Transcendent Etudes
6. Volodos - Outdoor concert thingy.

However, i change my mind daily.

eh......no. Anything to do with classical music. And DEFINATELY no Pop or Rock or anything else which associates with that. POP    ROCK    ANYTHING THAT ASSOCIATES WITH THAT

I like canceling stuff out. ;D

for the piano, there's also Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli's DVD's, The BBC sessions of the WTC with 3 pianists, Chopin's 24 etudes by Freddy Kempf, Chopin's 24 etudes by Valentina Lisitsa, Schubert-Liszt Swannengsung by Valentina Lisitsa.
In Jazz Keith Jarret trio (2 DVD's I think), Gonzalo Rubalcaba (just released and phenomenal), Diana Krall in Montreal (she's a very decent pianist after all  ;D).

Otherwise, Orchestral, the legendary Karajan Beethoven video sessions. A whole bunch of operas. There's quite a wide choice.

Greetings.

One of my favourites are the Leonard Bernstein lectures at Harvard. There are six of them and are very interesting.

i wish i could hear them.  i saw one video such a long time ago and it was a behind the scenes video of west side story's production.  it was then that i fell in love with his musical temperament.

argerich's gachot documentary is also very interesting. Hyperion told me in an email that they are releaseing an official Hamelin DVD later this year...
Tom

I just found the email:

Dear Tom,

We are to issue a DVD of Hamelin sometime later this year. Perhaps even in the early part of next year depending on post-production scheduling.
We are in discussions with Angela Hewitt who is very keen to record performance and and instructional type lecture on performance practices for Bach, but we haven't any release date information to offer you at the moment.

All good wishes.

Does anyone have the DVD of Aldo Ciccolini playing Saint-Saëns concertos no. 4 & 5? Damn Netflix carries the other Ciccolini titles but not this one.
