on: August 21, 2006, 05:49:05 AM
Can anyone give me the translations for the names of pieces in Turina's Danses Gitanes:

Op .55
1) Zambra
2) Danza de la Seduccion
3) Danza ritual
4) Generalife
5) Sacro-monte

Op.84
1) Fiesta de las calderas
2) Circulos ritmicos
3) Invocacion
4) Danza ritmica
5) Seguiriya

Also how do you prononunce "Gitanes"  is it an "H" sound (silent G) like in Ginastera or a hard "G" sound

Also any additional info about the suites are appreciated.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
