New and shopping for a piano:)
on: August 25, 2006, 01:11:50 AM
Hi guys!
This is my first time on this forum. Ive been browsing for a lil while and you seem to have a nice little site going here. :P Im now 18 years old and ive been playing music my whole life. 8 Years of violin and the rest on the rock and recently jazz guitar. I wanna buy a piano haha. But i dont know what to think of the pianos ive seen. So i thought id post some pictures up froma local classified webiste to get some feedback from the pro's before buying. Im looking for a decent piano to learn with. Im thinking of spending around 2000$ on this piano.

So here it goes :

1) https://lespac.com/search/detail.php?infst=&cp=92&region=&gr=8&majalerte=&a=4027546&o=%2Fsearch%2Findex.php&r=1651&liste_ville=&parindex=0&page=2&total=436&nbrpages=37&visite_recherche=&categorie_titre=%5BLoisirs+-+Musique-Instruments%5D&orderby=distance&mots=piano&tr=4&distancemax=0&agemax=0&liste_region=&catgr=c92-8&yf=0&yt=0&prixfrom=De...&prixto=%C0...&offre=t&etatb=t

I put up ten but theres loads more. So If you have the time,id really appreciate if you could check the site out a bit and tell me if theres any you think look good. Thanks for your help. This is really important to me because its a huge financial investment for me and id like to own it my whole life or at least until i can get a better one :P haha. thanks a bunch guys!

I think you should narrow your choices first.

The reason you aren't getting responses is the information overload you presented to everyone. ( And I don't think anybody will click thru All Those Links)
Do some research yourself, then ask more focused questions

Just some constructive ideas. Good luck in your seaech.

to be honest mate, i'm also shopping, you won't find a "decent" piano for 2000$ ;-)

The ones you can find round that price in range are mostly 2nd hand,

The most decent piano I could find round that price range was a 2nd hand Fazer, for 2500$

I could find some FAZER's in europe that sounded nice, but they are really piano's to learn on, they didnt move me that much and I found the keys very very heavy
