I was just wondering if anyone knew about Burgmuller's "The Storm"?

I needed just some tips on it.  :)

B, My daughter is learning the storm as we speak. Actually all she has left is the speed.
She has reached 108, but is still far off the 160 mark.

I could only find a mp3 version on the net. Can't find it at all in the music stores. Heck hard to find Bugmuller period.

Problem is I am not sure it sounds right. Seems muddled to me. Would love it if you could listen and tell me if the mp3 is a good rendition to go by.. About 2 megs worth.

Thks in Advance

Actually, that's pretty much how the song is.

I've actually experimented on speed myself!

I tried going up to 220... not so good... haha.

Hi, Ron,

I listened to the recording, and your daughter is playing it very nicely. She should not worry too much at this stage with speed (it is surprisingly effective at 108!) but on the details (which notes to accent, how long to hold them, exactly where to use the pedal - there is very little pedal in this piece, etc.). Well done, :D

I sent you a PM.

Best wishes,
Bernhard.
