Just go to...

https://www.zillow.com/

...and find out.

(But it's probably just for mainland USA, for all I know.)

Anyone ever tell you you're the nosiest person in town?  ;D ;D ;D

Yes - my friend and his wife just bought a house in London, two stories, two bedrooms, with all the modern amenities (central air, dishwaser, etc).  He also has a grand piano in there, and a garden in the back.  I really really wonder how much that house costs!  I will have to ask pianitisimo if it is kosher to ask.

My dad bought a flat in Highgate (London) for around £185,000 back in the 70's/80's and now it's worth over 1/4 of a million! Don't think he'll ever sell it though, it's really big! And it has a lovely community garden.

Dunno how much this house is worth, but probably quite a bit. A school was going to buy it and the surrounding land and build a new school here, but they moved somewhere else instead. I think I remember hearing that my dad was going to get something in the realms of £300,000 for the house.

If you want to find out UK house prices, there are quite a lot of free websites. The first I found on Google that gave detailed information was:
