Yamaha or Suzuki?
on: August 29, 2006, 12:32:49 AM
Hi! I am new member in the forum! I am looking at a new Yamaha grand piano (model GB1, 149 centimeters) to buy. Nonethless there is also a new chinese piano called Suzuki, which seems to be better than Yamaha in my opinion. This Suzuki model (AG550, 165 cm) is has Renner type action and German Raslau strings. The yamaha GB1 is very small, what gives not a 100% playing response. Suzuki has almost the same price of the Yamaha grand and it is bigger. I would be pleased to know:
- what is the period of time of the Suzuki?
- is it really good?
- what are the differences between them?
Thank you very much....

Personally, I'd go Chinese, of one kind or another, 5'5" (165cm) or better.
