Just Ordered my First Keyboard
on: September 12, 2006, 05:20:30 PM
Hi everyone,
I'm sure you won't find this as exciting as I do, but I just ordered my first keyboard.
I got it from ebay and its a Yamaha dgx-205. I know its probably on the lower end as far as keyboards go, but the price is right and I think it has all of the features that I will need to learn to play the piano.
Anyways, I'm super excited that I ordered it and now I can't wait for it to show up so that I can really begin.

That's a nice keyboard. I'm sure you'll be happy with it.
I started out on a Yamaha PSR-275 which is very similar but only has 61 keys. It was a great start. I play accoustical pianos now, but I still have the keyboard and use it as a MIDI interface to the computer for using sight-reading software.
