F'ing Scary! Synesthaesia [dunno spelling]
on: September 20, 2006, 02:43:52 AM
Wow, I've heard of synesthaesia, but refused to believe that some ppl had it so seriously... yesterday the weirdest thing happened... I'm going to a wedding in two weeks, and I was picking up my suit; you know those puff things that go in the breastpocket?  I grabbed a deep red colored one, and I swore I tasted something like strawberry gum... then, today this kid in one of my classes was pissing everyone off, and when the teacher told him to be quiet, I tasted something like gasoline.... soooooooo weird!!!  Can ppl have sudden synesthaetic experiences, but never have any ever again?  I've never experienced anything like this, but it was so weird and unexpected...

I don't want to scare you but it may be worth mentioning to a doctor.

As I understand, and I am not a neurological expert, in some cases if you start to experience weird smells or tastes out of the blue it may warrant investigation by a specialist.
