SQUEAK PROBLEM YAMAHA STAND-UP U-1

Hi,

My piano squeaks whenever I press keys (Big octaves, etc.) with the sustain pedal held down the whole time. For ex. I hold down the sustain pedal, and do big octaves and you can hear squeaks from the piano, I don't know where.

Help!

Squeaking pedal is minor problem. Get your technician to look at it. I am sure it can be rectify within minutes.

Its not the pedal that squeaks, its somewhere but the pedal that squeaks. The pedal is held down the whole time i play the octaves and you can hear squeaks from the piano, and it just isn't the octaves that squeaks, sometimes when I play passages you can hear squeaks and this is with the sustain(right) pedal down throughout. THE SQUEAK ISN'T from the pedals. Thanks for your reply mic.

Usually how much is it to hire a technician?

Maybe the squeaks are from the casters. As you play the piano shakes a bit and the castors squeak?
