i was going to say that i went to the movie 'accepted' - which is about a kid who doesn't get accepted into any college at graduation and makes up a form letter in which he is accepted to a bogus college 'hermon technical institute.'  but, then things get out of hand and he has to actually create the college from the ground floor up out of a psychiatric institute.  the website - which he had a friend create - allows for anyone who accesses the site to be automatically accepted.  so, not only does he have to worry about his parents coming to visit the school - but also, thousands of rejects who come to this school out of desperation.  it's kind of a unique look at education - because the first day or two they are allowed to write on a huge bulletin board whatever they want to learn at college.  then, each student gets to help create the class.  not terrible ideas, really - but just a little out of hand at first!

but, since this thread is not about movies - i will digress to music.  i love guitar music.  but, today listened to a violin and cello concerto (forgot the composer and name of piece) that was quite nice.  and, also - howard hanson's last composition.  have to look up the name (sylphes and ?)
