Well, I am curious about that , which version(s) do  you guys think that is/are extremely gorgeous  in Maksim's album ?

I know that there are many of them, so , if you like , you may list out all of your favourite here ;)

you'll find this very odd, but actually i do think his performance of our croatian pieces is very good, with great imagination. for the rest-heh we had enough of this kind of discussion and i can already see possibly another pointless discussion

You can't be a fake-pianist if you can play that well technically. You can joke about how he tried to make classical music appeal to a wider demographic, and you can do the same with Myleen Klass, but I think they have balls and courage to do that. Though it might not sound nice to us, I'm proud that they gave it a try.

OMG he CAN'T play well technically !!! His sound is just HORRIBLE. And he plays all way too slow and empty. OMG OMG ... that isn't EVEN appealing to other people ...

Maksim is very good pop/techno artist. But as classical piano player, he just sucks.

What exactly you tried to say with that?
His tone is completlely empty and harsh. Without any emotion.

i think brahmsian was referring to theirry's statement of saying that maksim cant play well technically and plays slow and empty.

I think the recording of the bumblebee shows a considerable amount of technical accomplishment.

Well, Thanks for all of your replid , in the first place  :)

after seeing the comments , I ;d like to question you a question :

Why do most of you yhink that Maksim is ''suck '' in classical music ?

Personally , and after hearing his album , I 'd really admire his performance ///

Anyway , I know that , each of you may have  their viewpoint , so  please share your opinion openly /\/\

I still think, even after that video, that is sound just SUCKS, wich is part of technic, and even if he plays it even, it still is empty. Your video only approved what I said.

couldn't resist replying to this thread, i promise to myself this is last talk i'm having about maksim  :P
went on youtube today and listened maksim playing hungarian rhapsody n.2. i don't see what's the big fuss and discussions about him and his playing-i mean, it's obvious as a sun that he isn't comparable to any of great masters or any great young pianist such as yundi, lang lang..

but thierry, aren't you just..hmmm..jealous, is this the right word?
because he's an average pianist while making tones of money and having millions of screaming girls around him. all that-despite his average, who wouldn't want what he has?...

and frankly-i've seen worser pianists then him, just for the record.

I didn't know he had screaming girls around him and that he made millions. And even if he does, what does that change ? I don't want that kind of life, no thanks. Having to travel worldwide everyday ... omg no. I'm not the only who said he sucks, why are you telling MEEE I'm jealous OMFG ... and to answer your question, I wouldn't take his money if his life comes with it. He has to completly butcher good pieces of music, and he can't really play the greatest pieces in piano litterature. He has to butcher most famous and the easiest virtuosic pieces. I would be ashamed like hell. Now please stop insulting me without any reasons.

i'm intention wasn't insult you, i was talking generally about people who hate him, you were just here so i mentioned you, but that could be anybody.

i just wanted to say that i can't see reason to hate him so deeply and much. one thing is to dislike his way of playing, but another thing is fanatically hate him.
and you say you 'would be ashamed like hell'? well, sorry but i wouldn't be if i were you. take this rhapsody for example (without those effects and crap)- he won't win the best pianist of the year award with that playing, but it isn't that bad to crucify him because of it.

But, don't you think that his fingers are really AMAZING ???

speaking of amazing, i think he has something else amazing  8)
