Rachmaninoff Chopin variations, which ending?

Rachmaninoff lets the interpreter decide if that piece should end with a presto virtuoso or with a calm op.111-like ending. I prefer the latter.

Learn both, and choose which is more appropriate depending on the audience.

I actually haven't been able to get into this piece yet, but i love the Corelli variations, on my to-do list.
