 Dear all!
 I'm feeling quite good: just listened to Mr. Barry Douglas playing Liszt's Sonata, in a concert held in Wigmore Hall, in London. Thanks to BBC Radio 3!
 So, to the ones that aren't acquainted with the mighty english broadcasting house, here's the link:
"https://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/networks/radio3/aod.shtml?radio3/lunchtimeconcerts_mon"
 Notice that this particular recital is only available till next monday. It's a weekend gift! Enjoy!
 Best wishes!

thanks so much!  i'm listening right now.  my heart is thrilling at the ending of the B minor sonata.  (i think the irish know how to play the piano).  i missed his 'dripping with sweat.'

barry douglas is the focus all the rest of the week?  wow.  this is great!

 Dear Pianistimo:
 Indeed, very indeed! Here's the setlists:
 Tuesday, 26/sep: works by Brahms and Schubert, with soprano Ailish Tynan;
 Wednesday, 27/sep: Brahms opus 34, with the Callino string quartet;
 Thursday, 28/sep: more Brahms, more guests;
 Friday, 29/sep: Brahms' Rhapsodies opus 79, Janacek's On an overgrown path, and (wow!) Beethoven's Sonata opus 53.

 Notice that the programs will be available to listen just a week after broadcast. So, have a nice Barry Weekend!
 Best wishes!

this is so great!  it's counteracting the fall i had today again on my knee.  i was cleaning the floor with my wetvac and slipped on the kitchen floor on a wet spot (straight down on my knee).  of course, my five year old needed the walk to the busstop and i couldn't even get up.  so, i hand her the backpack (thankfully lunch was made) and send her over to the neighbor.  then, when my kids get home i get them to lug up the crutches from downstairs.  this will be my saving grace.  barry douglas.
