burberry brit
on: October 04, 2006, 05:42:32 AM
my husband has allergies to cologne - so about the only way i can smell it is to open testers in the mail. my son laughs and tells me i'm the only one that would spend time doing that. ok. so yesterday i get the mail - and burberry brit is in it. i dutifully pulled the sticky glue side apart and smiled wierdly. my son started laughing again as i smelled it three and four times. i carried it upstairs. smelled it again. and, as we speak are smelling it. what is it about smell? it is like music. of course, the natural smells of people are more honest - but, i can't help opening testers.

no wonder it smelled good - i accidentally opened the side for women. apparrently it comes in a pair and there is a burberry brit for men as well - on the other side. so dutifully, i opened that side this morning. personally, now i am very confused. i was thinking it was nice due to the 'lighter' scent it had. but, now, if i smell it on a man i will think 'uh, oh.' but, the other scent is very similar - just 'heavier.' i have no idea what they did to get it that way. maybe added lead?

well. i was going to smell more of it - but someone threw it away.
despite my eyesight and hearing - i have excellent smell. i suppose i may rely on it heavily for playing the piano in future years. also, i happen to love scented candles. so this morning - lacking testers to smell - i lighted my favorite 'vanilla something' candle. it is my way of 'escaping' for a moment into the eternal realm of 'perfection' - where nothing burns in the oven, no spills on the floor, noone is yelling 'mooooommm,' just the peaceful quiet scent wafting from floor to ceiling.

~~~
Popcorn roasting on the open keys
So Susan can find her Piano
She'll hum through her nose
and try not to sneeze
Whilst her fingertips play the soprano!
thanks for another great flaming design. i feel so hot.
say, hows the boiler project going? did you finish it. what are you doing with it now?
people here in pennsylvania do random strange things, though. everyone here is affixing cornstalks to their mailboxes. must find one to fit in.
